About Us...
Our Brief History:
The Thunder On The Plains Project was started in 2007 to help positively promote and encourage artistic expression and appreciation of the Midwest's Heritage. At present the prime focus is on Irish Dancing, however we continue to gather other artistic interests and influences as we grow and expand.
Currently, we have ongoing classes in Omaha, NE, however we are seeking other communities in Nebraska to branch out towards to share our love for our heritage and culture. Our enthusiasm towards dance and the music is contagious, as well as towards community involvement.

About the Instructor:
Cassandra has been Irish Dancing for over 10 years - her primary focus in the past has been on Ceili Dancing (Irish Social Dancing). However, over the past five years - she has begun furthering her education on Irish Step Dancing, studying in workshop and classroom settings under Catherine Shearer-Bishop, Jenny Carroll-Chavez & Colin Dunne, former lead dancer from Riverdance.
Her enthusiasm towards dance and Irish Music is contagious as is her joy of sharing it with others.
